shade we found the perfect draft for you! A 10 yr old Shire stallion by the name of Titan, and he definitely lives up to his name! We purchased him a month ago planning to keep him for our shire lines; but we got more than we bargained for with this guy. We found out when we first brought him to our stable that he is very aggressive with our other horses, sometimes nipping and throwing his weight around. With how busy we are with our show horses we don't have enough hands to give this boy the patience and training he deserves. So we'd hope you would like to give a home at your barn! He will need a strong minded but loving owner to help him through his fears and aggression with other horses. if you'd like him i'll send him your way!
Day 1
At first he seemed tiered and showed little interest in what I was doing.
I was going to leave him for a while and let him relax and get used to his new home. He however had other ideas and followed me to the gate.
He clearly didn't want to to be left alone. And who could really say no to that face?
So I decided to try giving him an apple slice...He really didn't seem to know what to do with it.
I thought he might like some actual food instead...I was clearly wrong.
He spent some time running through the grass instead. He liked it.
While he may have some horse aggression we will have to examine and work on but he definitely doesn't have any aggression to humans.

Day 2
We decided to work with some jumping after he brought knocked one out of the carrying case. He seemed to really enjoy it. I may have to look into jumping shows.
Then I decided he needed some grooming. He enjoyed some parts more than others.
I couldn't do anything with his hooves. He just wasn't going for it. I think tomorrow I may start by introducing him to our barn dogz.
Day 3
The plan was to start right away with introducing him to some of the dogz but he wanted to be a wild horse today.
We started by letting Titan run rampant for a bit to wear down some energy before getting on with the days event.
I gave him some hay in hopes that his food would calm in down a bit.
Instead he found a bucket of grain I had brought near and chose to carry it around with him.
Needless to say I didn't get around to introducing him to the dogz today.

Day 4
I introduced the dogz; Clever(black and white), Assumption(tan and white), Furry(tricolor), and Sly(blue); to Titan. They all seemed to be getting along great. He wasn't really sure about them at first but when he discovered they would run around with him he was happy.
He and Clever enjoyed doing weird bounces together.
Except when Clever jumped on the hay. Titan wasn't pleased with that.
Assumption and Titan stood regally with each other.
Assumption let her shy fear self come out when Titan thundered too close. Getting worry from Clever and anger from Sly.
And worry from Titan, concerned about his favorite of the pups.
When Clever tired comfort Assumption that Titan tried to protect her mistaking Clever as the cause of her distress. No one was hurt, just startled.
And Sly was angry...she's always kinda angry but still. So not the best end of the day but it could have gone a lot worse.
Day 5
I decided rather than introducing Titan to anyone new today we could try our hand at halter showing(even though, let's be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing)
I don't think he did too bad...Mostly
Day 6
For today I decided to start introducing him to some of my other horses. I started with 3 of my females. I chose Sierra because she's one of my more laid back horses and she was a rescue as well. Then I chose Indigo and Charity because they were eager to get out and met me at the gate when I went to fetch Sierra.
Sierra
The two got along great. He was more than happy to show off. And when I took her out to bring in Indigo he was very sad.
Indigo
When Indigo first came in Titan was still pouting but when he stopped pouting and started paying attention to her Indigo started acting agitated so their meeting didn't last long and we too her out.
Charity
Charity and Titan got along great. They ran around and acted like wild horses jumping and leaping together.
Day 7
The big day. Introducing him to some of the males. I chose Knight, Captain, and Shark for the three to start Titan with. Knight because I've had him longest and can judge his mood the best. Captain and Shark because they're both sweet hearts and get along well with others.
Titan seemed to be excited for a new day.
Knight
At first Titan seemed very interested in Knight while Knight wasn't interested in return. Then When Knight wasn't interested Titan started getting irritated so I removed the smaller horse.
Shark
Shark and Titan were instantly buddies. They hit it off great. And when Shark got taken in to bring out Captain Titan was very sad. I'm very happy with how well the two got along. I'll definitely be keeping them around each other.
Captain
Captain and Titan got along pretty well. No aggression from either. However they clearly weren't as buddy buddy as Shark and Titan were.
