Rina's Gameplay Contest #3
This Gameplay contest was held on TWS. By Rina in October 2011
The Tasks
Day 1
Get to know your pet! Why did you adopt them? Experiment and see what their favorite food, toyz, and treatz are. Can you describe their personalities?
Day 2
Today's task will be different depending on if your wild is dog-based or cat-based. If dog-based (or a cat-based wild who will comply), spend today teaching your pet some cool tricks! If your wild is based off of a cat, and won't do tricks, spend the day figuring out your wild's feline quirks. Will they drink out of the faucet in the kitchen? Dance to the music box? Jump through a hoop? It's up to you to find out!
Day 3
You knew it was coming: Show practice! It's always good to start posing your wildz as soon as possible, so they're already pros by the time they're old enough to start showing. Make sure you check out the pose show guidelines!(Tip: To get your pet to tilt its head up, try holding a toy it isn't familiar with so it stares up at it!)
Day 4
Wow, over halfway through already? I think at this time your wild would appreciate playing with another pet. It doesn't have to be a wild, so don't worry if you only have one! I wonder if they will be friends, enemies, or maybe something more?
Day 5
Today is all about letting your wild play! If you have a dog-based wild, take them out into the backyard for some frisbee practice. Remember, practice makes perfect!
Your cat-based wild isn't going to be super thrilled about the idea of catching a flying disc, so head to the family room and let them catch their first mouse! Like with catching a frisbee, they won't be perfect at first, but they should catch on as instinct kicks in. =D
Day 6
Dress up your pet! Because who doesn't love wild animals in adorable or silly costumes?Oh, and if you put antlers on them, you might get a few bonus points, but you didn't hear that from me. ;3
Day 7
Congrats, you've made it to the final day! I really hope you've had fun doing this, and will enter other gameplay contests in the future. Today, I want you to show me 3 pictures you took during this contest that you feel really capture your wild's personality. c: New pictures from today count, too, of course!

Day 1
This is Chojo. I adopted her from M'kay because I thought she was just too cute and I thought her coloring was prettier than the others in her litter(though they were cute too!)
We started with treats. I couldn't find any she didn't like but unfortunately trying to get pictures of her with the treats is like trying to slam a revolving door...she is real fast about jumping on them and eating them. She likes to do tricks...well one trick. She will lay down and stay there for a second or two be fore she jumps up saying "I did good right? Right? I get the treat now? Please please?"
Her two favorite toys were the stuffed hunting fox and the rabbit. She would get so mad when I tried to take them from her. She would walk around growling for a little afterwards. But the fox was her favorite and when I put it away she sat and pouted.
For the most part the other stuffed animals she either liked and would carry around or would be afraid/nervous of. There were a couple though that she just didn't care about one way or the other. It's a good thing she has someone to take care of her since her reaction to anything, besides her one rabbit, that could be considered prey for a fox was generally "what am I suppose to do with this?"
In general she liked the other toys. She loved the tug toy, the fish she wasn't sure at first but then she carried it around going "my fish." When I brought out the litter box it took awhile to get her to do anything but hit it around then she just looked at me like "are you happy now idiot?" and anything that moved on her own was her best friend. She loves chasing things how ever she wasn't big on catching things like the Frisbee.
Holy monkey butt! This fox is a wild bundle of energy. She is all over the place. I think if I was to have her out with a bunch of toys and another pet she would be playing with toy A and when the other pet started to play with toy B she would go "oh nononono. I'm playing with that" or if I tried to put a toy away she would grab it, even though she'd been playing with another toy, and tell me "Now wait a minute. Did I say I was done with that yet?" Thank you petz maker peoples for the "clean area" button!
Day 2
used the the mice treats, beef treats, and chicken treats today. For her down trick Chojo's favorite was to lay down and her favorite up trick was to walk on her hands. She liked doing the sideways jump trick for left and right tricks but I really don't like it so I got her to do other tricks instead. I had a lot of fun teaching her to do roll over and jump over my hand. Sit and stay took a couple tries but eventually she got it down. It only took her one fall to learn how to roll on the ball without falling. Such a smart girl. And the beg trick is just so cute
Day 3
Alignment turned out to be the easiest thing even though that was what I was dreading the most. I'm sure they aren't perfect but they are close with that at least. But head position...ah...it made me want to scream. Chojo was more interested in just standing and looking around or jumping around and playing. Maybe with time I can get her to do it but after about 10 min she wouldn't even hold still for me.
Day 4
We decided we would play with Duke Sandlerly from Catherine today. When they first met(and this is their very first meeting since I've never had them both out at the same time before) they weren't quite sure what to think of each other. D.S. seemed a little shy and Chojo wasn't sure whether this new creature was friend or foe.
Once they decided to be friends the first thing they did was ran all over the place. I thought they may enjoy some toyz so I brought some out and they just ignored them. They were more interested in goofing off together. At one point in time Chojo was tiered and laid down for a little nap. D.S. however thought other wise and came running up behind her sending her sliding across the floor. She was up! So we went to the beach. There they found Mr. Hermit Crab. At first they didn't pay any attention to him until he moved. Once he did the game was on! They attacked but then I think D.S. realized they both had shells because they suddenly became disinterested in the crab. But then Chojo started cleaning D.S. so maybe it was he was just dirty and it bugged her. Who have thought that the energy ball would be a neat freak too! So after that we went back home to the family room to relax...the mice came out to play. Snowy Mouse(yes, I've named the mice. Snowy Mouse and Stormy Mouse) was too quick but Stormy got caught. Poor old girl. I think D.S. was a little put out that Chojo was faster and able to catch one while he couldn't. But Chojo dragged the poor mouse over to D.S. and the two of them then gave Stormy a bath! After all this D.S. finally agreed they should take a nap and the two of them curled up together. The ultimate proof that Chojo liked D.S.?
She pouted when he was put away.
Day 5
At first she was afraid of the frisbee when I held it up for her. But then I threw it and she loved it. Apparently if it moves and isn't an auto-moving toy she thinks it's her best friend. All she would do for awhile was chase it but then she started stopping and jumping for it. She missed...a lot. But eventually she finally caught it! She still doesn't catch it 100% of the time more like 60-75% I'd say but she does catch it! She learned quickly that she catches it more often if she lays down and waits for it to pass by a couple times. The biggest problem was getting her to give me the stupid disk back. Once she got it in her mouth it was her's and she didn't want it to go flying around again. If you've ever seen the movie Homeward Bound, at the beginning of the movie when the youngest boy is playing frisbee with Chance and it the dad has to come and wrestle it out of Chance's mouth and when it gets thrown again Chance says "You let it get away again!" or something along those lines. It was like that. But after awhile I got her to catch it and bring it to me(well okay she brought it to where ever she wanted but she didn't run around with it going "It's mine now!") and drop it.
Day 6
and just for Rina
Day 7
I chose a picture of Chojo running because she is soo full of energy that I wish we could bottle it up...I need it for school. It would be better than coffee! Then one of her puffing up because she is very confident in herself to the point when she seems almost arrogant. Then I took one of her standing on her head facing backwards because I imagine if she was a rl pet and could speak she would be looking at everything backwards and upside down and probably turn everyone's world like that as well.
